Flue gas purification

Thermal processes, in which fossil energy source or waste is burnt or processes, in which products are thermally treated produce flue gasses with a wide range of contaminants. In Germany, this applies, above all, to systems affected by the 17th BimSchV or the TA-Luft. Flue gas purification systems from Lufttechnik Bayreuth must, therefore, fulfil a multitude of tasks.

Contaminants, such as particles, hydrocarbons and gaseous inorganic contaminants, such as sulphur dioxide (SO2), must be reduced to below the current limit values. Depending on the composition, concentration and basic local conditions, wet, dry or quasi-dry LTB processes will be deployed.
Thanks to the multitude of components, which have been developed by Lufttechnik Bayreuth in the last 50 years, any occurring application demand can be handled through one source, whereby interfaces can be held to a minimum and construction time reduced.
