RoxSiTherm

The ROXSiTherm from LTB is a newly developed thermal oxidation process with regenerate heat recovery (RTO). Its application is suggested anywhere where the normal thermal oxidation process is choked by silicon dioxide. The cause is found in siloxanes in raw gas, which oxidise to SiO₂ in the burner chamber, even at low concentrations, which often lie below detection limits. 

With the ROXSiTherm from Lufttechnik Bayreuth, the heat exchanger storage material is continuously discharged and cleaned externally, so that clogging of the system is avoided. In this manner, the otherwise common, extensive cleaning downtimes are omitted.
